The Nike Dunk Low originated in 1985 but the Swoosh brand has brought the style back year after year with modern updates. Multiple panels combine to form a supportive upper and a low profile enhances movement for the ankle. This iteration strikes a classy chord with a primarily black suede construction and white leather paneling on the Swoosh and heel. A white midsole and black rubber sole are positioned beneath. Originally built for basketball, the designers at Nike eventually converted the Nike Dunk Low into a skate shoe with a thickened tongue and Zoom Air cushioning.
